Inarc Design Hong Kong Limited was commissioned to provide the Interiors for a 2,100 sm renovation of two (2) floors of the members stand at Happy Valley Racecourse. These floors included open and private dining areas, buffet counters, bars, betting counters, wine cellars and support kitchens for unique evening racecourse experiences for the needs of the Club’s special members.
For the M1 7/F Young Owners Box, a design solution was created for a younger horse owner with the emphasis on betting, private rooms, and a unique yet casual dining experience. The floors for the reception, buffet and betting areas were clad in a brushed black granite while the main dining area was clad in a customed designed carpet; the walls were clad in both walnut and rosewood timber with stainless steel mosaic tiles to selected feature walls; feature partitions were clad in coloured and patterned glass within black stainless steel frames while sculptural light fittings were included in the ceiling design; and the front of house catering fixtures were also clad in a patterned black stainless steel finish.
At the International Property Awards 2011-2012_Asia Pacific Summit held in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China on 31 May 2011, Inarc Design won the Leisure Interior Award (Highly Commended)_Hong Kong for this project.
