THE MEMBERS ENTRANCE

Inarc Design Hong Kong Limited was commissioned to provide the Interiors of the 2,100 sm renovation of two floors of the Main Members Entrance at the Happy Valley Racecourse. The scope of works included a new entrance to the exterior of the building including a glass canopy, entry turnstiles, betting counters, toilets and special audio / visual displays to accommodate the arrival of approximately 8,000 people per hour at the peak times.

A signature entry and arrival experience was created as well as an efficient and modern interior environment for members to place their bets between the races with an emphasis on quality details and materials for long term durability and maintenance. The works were completed in two stages, November 2003 and August 2005.

At the International Property Awards 2016-2017_Asia Pacific Property and Hospitality Summit held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 8 April 2016, Inarc Design Hong Kong Limited won both the Best Retail Interior Award (5 Star)_Hong Kong and the Nominee Best Retail Interior Award_Asia Pacific for this project. At the finals of the International Property Awards 2016-2017 held in London, United Kingdom on 12 December 2016, Inarc Design Hong Kong Limited further won the Best Retail Interior Award_Asia Pacific and World’s Best International Retail Interior Award for this project.
